About the Role
The successful Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key role in delivering gold-standard patient care while helping shape the culture of a modern, people-first veterinary practice. Working alongside highly skilled veterinary professionals, this is an opportunity to be part of a group that is redefining how veterinary care is accessed and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering the highest standards of clinical nursing care
- Conducting nurse consultations as part of a rota
- General anaesthetic monitoring and detailed record keeping
- Assisting vets during surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Performing screening procedures including auscultation and sample collection
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical notes
- Administering treatments as directed by veterinary surgeons
- Ensuring excellent surgical hygiene, infection control, and quarantining procedures
- Cleaning and maintaining clinical areas and equipment to a high standard
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
- Providing advice and education to pet owners on routine and specialised care
- Handling unsettled or anxious animals with confidence and urgency
