A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly regarded independent small animal practice based in West Sussex. This practice is ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly, with an excellent reputation for both patient care and staff wellbeing. Their dedicated management team actively supports their staff, ensuring a positive working environment where people feel valued and listened to. Key Details
- Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 FTE (DOE)
- 8 or 10-hour shifts (vet’s choice) with protected admin time
- 1 in 6 Saturday mornings on average
- No out-of-hours – inpatients cared for by a dedicated night nurse
- Thoughtful scheduling, including 15-minute standard consults, longer appointments for complex cases, and 1-hour slots for euthanasias
- Use of PetsApp to simplify client communication
