An exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to take the next step in their career. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head RVN to lead a fantastic nursing team at a well-established, modern veterinary practice in Bristol. This role has become available due to the relocation of the current Head Nurse, creating an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership position within a supportive and progressive team.

As Head RVN, you’ll play a key role in leading the nursing team and supporting the delivery of consistently high standards of clinical care and customer service. You’ll be joining a friendly team who are passionate about their patients, their clients and supporting one another.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’re looking for an RVN with a strong level of clinical experience who is confident and self-motivated.
  • A natural leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others.
  • Engaging, approachable and supportive.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Keen to support the ongoing professional development of RVNs, student nurses and VCAs.
  • Organised and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.

Previous leadership or senior nursing experience would be advantageous, but we’re also keen to hear from experienced RVNs who are ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

The role:

  • Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 depending on experience.
  • Working pattern: 4 days per week.
  • Shifts: 9-hour shifts.
  • Weekends: 1:4 weekends.
  • Duty nights: On a rotational basis.
  • Location: Bristol.
