An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and well-established practice in Essex, delivering high quality veterinary care to a diverse equine client base. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding caseload, combining ambulatory work with in house diagnostics and inpatient care, ensuring no two days are ever the same.
Working across yards, stables and outdoor environments, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting equine health and performance across a variety of settings.
The practice is seeking a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon with solid experience in equine medicine, including emergency and out of hours care. A strong foundation in diagnostics, equine pharmacology and nutrition is essential, alongside excellent problem solving abilities and physical stamina to manage the demands of working with large animals. Clear communication skills are vital, as educating and supporting clients is a core part of delivering outstanding care.
This position is ideally suited to a motivated, RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in a fast paced, hands on environment and enjoys the challenge of irregular hours, including nights and weekends. The team places a strong emphasis on professionalism, organisation and accurate record keeping, ensuring the highest clinical standards are consistently maintained.
