The Role
This is a hands‑on nursing position offering a broad and interesting caseload, with opportunities to develop across all aspects of veterinary nursing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Nurse consultations and clinics
- Theatre and anaesthesia nursing
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Inpatient care and monitoring
- Laboratory diagnostics
- Client education and support
- Admissions and discharges
- Supporting emergency and duty night care
- Working collaboratively with vets, nurses and reception colleagues
The team sees a wide range of cases, including small animals, exotic pets, dentistry and behavioural cases, making this a particularly rewarding role for an RVN who enjoys variety.
Hours & Work Pattern
- Full‑time: 40 hours per week
- 4 x 9‑hour working days
- Part‑time applications welcomed
- 1 in 4 weekends
- Duty nights on a shared rota
