The Role:
This maternity cover role offers the chance to become a fully integrated member of a highly skilled and supportive team, delivering outstanding clinical care in a modern environment where both pets and people are genuinely valued. You will play a key role in all aspects of nursing, from consultations and surgical support to inpatient care and preventative healthcare, while helping create a calm and welcoming experience for every patient and client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients across all areas of the practice
- Conduct nurse consultations and preventative healthcare appointments
- Monitor general anaesthesia and maintain accurate records
- Assist veterinary surgeons with procedures and surgeries
- Administer treatments and medications
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical notes
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management
- Ensure clinical areas and equipment are maintained to the highest standards
- Educate clients on routine and specialised pet care
