The Practice

The clinic is bright, modern, and exceptionally well equipped, featuring:

  • Orthopaedic surgical theatres
  • Digital and dental X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Multiparameter monitoring
  • In-house IDEXX laboratory
  • Separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas
  • Premium kennelling for low-stress patient care

The caseload is diverse and rewarding, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and other small exotics.

The Role

This Animal Nursing Assistant position plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting vets and nurses across both clinical and client-facing duties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Patient handling, restraint, and recovery support
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment
  • Laundry, equipment care, and stock organisation
  • Assisting with laboratory tasks, including sample preparation and running bloods
  • Supporting inpatient care and general ward duties
  • Some reception and administrative support
