Overview
Veterinary Surgeon – Mid Glamorgan
Responsibilities
- Varied caseload – a mix of surgery, medicine, and ECC cases, with support from certificate holders and a skilled nursing team
- Dual-site experience – split between a busy, well-equipped first opinion practice in Merthyr Tydfil and a smaller, supportive branch practice in the Valleys
- Flexible working options – full-time 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, but part-time arrangements are open for discussion
- Excellent location – enjoy the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and the affordability of the Valleys, with Cardiff and other urban centres within easy reach

- Skilled in both medicine and surgery, delivering exceptional care to patients and clients alike
- Strong team player with proven clinical leadership ability
- Committed to supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures, recognising their value to clinical efficiency
- Experienced in fostering a progressive clinical culture
- Adept in using coaching and influencing skills to bring out the best in colleagues
