Overview of Practice

Independent practice with nearly 40 years of trusted service in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Modern facilities including two surgical theatres, digital imaging, ECG, and in‑house lab. No OOH, fixed 36‑hour week, with a great balance of consulting and surgery. Supportive, close‑knit team and a beautiful location with excellent quality of life.

Position Overview

Established in 1986, my client has proudly served the pets of Royal Tunbridge Wells for nearly 40 years and is now looking for a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join their friendly, knowledgeable team on a full‑time basis. The role offers a balanced mix of consultations and surgery, with some sole‑charge evening consults. The position follows a fixed rota of 36 hours per week, with no out‑of‑hours work required.

Facilities & Equipment

The practice features two state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres including a main sterile theatre for all surgical procedures. You will have access to top‑notch diagnostic tools, including an ophthalmoscope, otoscope, X‑ray, ultrasound, ECG, and a well‑equipped in‑house lab.

Team

The current team is small but mighty, comprising a highly experienced veterinary surgeon, a registered veterinary nurse with a passion for exotics and British wildlife, and a welcoming receptionist who’s been a familiar face at the practice since 2011.
