An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, forward thinking practice in Doncaster. With two well-equipped sites, one of which is a fully functioning hospital. You’ll have access to outstanding facilities including consulting rooms, operating theatres, and laboratory equipment across both locations. The team is friendly, experienced, and incredibly supportive, made up of 8 vets with a wide range of interests and certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. You’ll never feel isolated as there’s always someone on hand to offer advice or mentorship.
This practice is proud to offer a truly tailored role, whether you’re looking to develop your surgical, medical or general practice skills. If surgery is your passion, you’ll have the chance to get hands on with advanced procedures including cruciate and patella repair, laparoscopy, and BOAS surgeries. For those with a flair for medicine, the practice is fully kitted out with top tier diagnostic tools including ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, i-STAT and Imagyst, enabling you to work up most cases in-house. Prefer variety? No problem—the rota is shaped around individual interests, ensuring you spend more time doing what you love.
Hospital shifts offer the perfect blend of inpatient care, emergency cases, and routine consults or surgery, providing both pace and professional growth. The practice also takes pride in nurturing new talent and is a VetGDP registered practice, meaning they are well placed to support new and recent graduates in building a strong and confident start to their career.

The Rota
- Ideally full time position, but open to part time applicants
- 4 day week
- 1:8 Saturday mornings with time back in lieu
