A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, RCVS accredited small animal practice in the beautiful town of Chepstow! This well regarded practice is known for its supportive culture, high clinical standards, and genuine commitment to both patient care and team wellbeing.
The successful candidate will enjoy the reassurance of no sole charge, working alongside another experienced Veterinary Surgeon in a calm, collaborative environment. This role is primarily consult focused, offering the chance to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional continuity of care, with occasional involvement in inpatient wards depending on clinical needs.
Based at the main branch of a two‑site practice, the role benefits from being at the heart of where consultations and the majority of surgical procedures take place, while hospitalised patients are cared for on‑site in thoughtfully designed, separate cat, dog, and small furry wards to minimise stress and maximise comfort.
The practice boasts modern, comprehensive facilities designed to support high quality, well‑rounded veterinary care. These include an on‑site laboratory for rapid diagnostics, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and dental equipment, as well as additional services such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture.
