About The Group:

Purovets is an independent practice group with eight branches across the Middlesex area. The role will be split between one of the branches and the main branch, offering the opportunity to develop skills and assist with branch development.

Facilities:

All branches are well equipped with in‑house laboratory, dental equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound scanner, laparoscope, endoscopy (flexible and rigid), orthopedic kit, CT scanner onsite, and off‑site access to a 3.5‑T MRI scanner.

Role & Responsibilities:

You will work as part of a team of 13 vets with a range of experience, including post‑graduate certificates in Surgery and Dermatology and AVP status in Surgery. Continuing professional development, including certificate study, is actively encouraged, with several colleagues studying for diagnostic imaging, surgery and cardiology certificates.

  • 4‑day week with a fixed day off
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays
  • One on-call every fortnight until 9:30 pm with a generous bonus scheme

Candidate:

The role is suitable for a vet with a couple of years’ experience who is confident working solo charge, with a varied case load and a desire to develop skills further.
