A premium veterinary clinic located in the picturesque Surrey Hills, within a quintessential English town, seeks an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, well‑equipped practice. The role is part of an RCVS‑registered clinic that offers on‑site surgical, diagnostic and dental facilities, including digital radiography, endoscopy and ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the clinical operations of the team and act as the primary point of management.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director to provide leadership, coordinate the hospital and clinical caseload, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
- Facilitate training and development for staff, and maintain high standards of veterinary care.
- When not deputising, undertake veterinary duties.
Rota
- Permanent
- 40 hours per week – 4‑day week
- 1:4 Saturdays (Saturdays off every fourth week)
- No out‑of‑hours service
