The Opportunity
We are currently working with a leading international engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to work on technically challenging, high-profile projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering environment.
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, working closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop efficient and buildable structural solutions.
The Role
- Delivering structural engineering design across a range of building projects.
- Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation.
- Developing structural schemes from concept through to detailed design.
- Working collaboratively with architects, façade engineers and other consultants.
- Supporting project delivery, technical coordination and design reviews.
- Assisting with site inspections and resolving technical issues where required.
- Using industry-standard design software and engineering principles to deliver robust solutions.
About You
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Relevant UK structural engineering consultancy experience.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Experience working on building structures and/or façade-related projects.
- Competent use of relevant structural design software.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ideally working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
