An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated small animal veterinary surgeon to join a long‑established, well‑respected practice in Stafford. This role is ideal for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload, values strong client relationships, and wants a supportive team to grow their career.
For over 30 years, the practice has been a trusted part of the local community, providing high‑quality care across the region. Based in attractive market towns just 50 minutes from Birmingham and an hour from West Midlands Airport, the locations offer an appealing blend of countryside living and easy city access.
The recently refurbished premises are modern, light, and spacious, with two glass‑linked theatres, digital radiography, a vista scanner, in‑house lab analysers, ultrasound, and dental radiography. Both sites hold Cat‑Friendly Silver, Silver RWAF, and Green Investors in the Environment accreditations.
The rota is well balanced, typically including one surgery day, one consulting day, and two mixed days per week, with flexibility to suit your preferences. There’s a 1‑in‑3 Saturday morning rota and no out‑of‑hours, supporting an excellent work–life balance.
You’ll join a friendly team of five experienced vets, supported by dedicated nurses and client care staff. The practice is known for its collaborative culture, continuity of care, and genuine team spirit. Alongside small animal work, there are opportunities to treat a variety of wildlife and exotic species.
