We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children’s residential home in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
The Role
- Full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home
- Ensure the service meets and exceeds Ofsted and regulatory standards
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team
- Create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people
- Manage referrals, placements, and relationships with external professionals
- Oversee budgets, staffing, rotas, and compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting
- Strong knowledge of EBD, safeguarding, and children’s legislation
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Proven experience with Ofsted inspections
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
