About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our well-established nursing home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong clinical and operational leader to deliver outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring full regulatory compliance and high-quality service delivery.
As Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff performance, maintaining excellent care standards, achieving strong CQC outcomes, and fostering a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership to the nursing and care teams
- Ensure the home is fully compliant with CQC regulations and company policies
- Maintain high standards of clinical care, safeguarding, and infection control
- Manage and develop staff through supervision, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and rota management
- Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and cost control effectively
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and external professionals
- Lead on audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN (essential)
- Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance

- Ability to manage budgets and drive occupancy
