We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse Home Manager to lead a well-established, 36 bedded nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong and people-focused leader who has successfully managed a service through a CQC inspection and is confident in maintaining compliance while driving quality, occupancy and team engagement.
The Role
As Home Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the operational, clinical and financial performance of the service. You’ll lead from the front, supporting your nursing and care teams while ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, supportive leadership to the whole staff team
- Maintain and improve standards in line with CQC requirements
- Ensure safe, effective and responsive clinical practice
- Manage budgets, occupancy and recruitment
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
- Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN
- Experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home
- Must have been through a CQC inspection as the Registered Manager
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and governance
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness alongside a commitment to quality care
