About the Opportunity
I am working on behalf of a well‑established care provider to recruit an experienced and compassionate Interim Care Home Manager for a 6‑month maternity cover contract in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact within a well‑run residential service, with the potential to secure a permanent position at the end of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and day‑to‑day management of the care home
- Ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with regulatory standards
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines (including CQC requirements)
- Manage, support, and develop staff to create a positive and effective working environment
- Oversee budgets, occupancy levels, and overall operational performance
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
- Lead on inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience as a Care Home Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice within care services
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A compassionate, resident‑focused approach
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. NVQ Level 5 or equivalent)
