A passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to join a supportive and forward-thinking veterinary team in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This thriving practice is looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service in a collaborative and compassionate environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments while supporting Veterinary Surgeons with procedures and surgeries. They will help ensure the highest standards of patient care, clinical excellence and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.

The position is full time, working 40 hours over four days at the Loughborough branch, alongside:

  • 1 in 6 weekends at the sister 24-hour hospital
  • 1–2 bank holidays per year
  • 2 weeks per year on-call

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Veterinary Nurse will:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
  • Support consultations, surgeries and clinical procedures
  • Monitor anaesthesia and provide inpatient nursing care
  • Manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and pet owners
  • Work collaboratively within a friendly and supportive veterinary team
  • Maintain the highest clinical, operational and regulatory standards
