We are recruiting a Regional Nurse Manager - Learning Disabilities & Autism to deliver and oversee complex community care packages for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated complex health needs across Dorset and Hampshire. This role is ideal for an RNLD (Registered Nurse - Learning Disabilities), or an experienced RGN or RMN with extensive Learning Disability and Autism experience, who has a strong background in complex care nursing, community nursing, and clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage up to 10 complex learning disability care packages across Dorset
  • Lead the clinical delivery of complex care in community and home‑based settings
  • Provide nursing leadership for individuals with complex learning disabilities, autism, behaviours that challenge, and comorbid physical or mental health conditions
  • Complete and review person‑centred care plans, clinical assessments, and risk assessments
  • Mobilise and quality‑assure complex community care packages
  • Provide clinical supervision, competency sign‑off, and support to nurses and support workers
  • Work collaboratively with operational, recruitment, and compliance teams
  • Manage safeguarding, incident management, and risk escalation
  • Demonstrate strong conflict resolution, decision‑making, and time‑management skills
  • Participate in a rotational out‑of‑hours on‑call service
  • Travel regularly across Dorset & Hampshire (community‑based role)

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Registered Nurse qualification: RNLD (preferred) or RGN/RMN considered with proven Learning Disability & Autism experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Manager, Nurse Manager, or Senior Nurse
  • Strong background in complex care nursing and community nursing
  • Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs
  • Experience managing care packages, multidisciplinary teams, and community services
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision‑making skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a regional nurse manager role
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
