We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established healthcare provider for an experienced and motivated Registered Care Home Manager to lead a specialist nursing service in the Preston area. The Service
Our client operates a specialist nursing service supporting residents with varying levels of dementia and general nursing needs, offering a structured, supportive, and clinically focused environment.
The Role
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will have full accountability for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and strong team leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Overall operational and clinical leadership of the service
- Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Managing staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance
- Overseeing the development, implementation, and review of care plans
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team
- Driving quality improvement and supporting strategic development
The Ideal Candidate
- Ideally a Registered Nurse with previous care home management experience
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams within a regulated care setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC compliance and governance
- Confident, adaptable, and commercially aware
- Holds a full clean UK driving licence, including N1 entitlement, and able to drive for business purposes
