Purosearch are working with a leading health clinic in London to recruit an experienced Practice Manager / Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a specialist women's health clinic. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional patient experience, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and commercial performance.
Working closely with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary clinical teams, you will oversee all non-clinical operations, ensuring our patients receive a seamless, compassionate, and high-quality service throughout their health journey.
As Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee the daily operational management of the clinic.
- Ensure efficient scheduling, patient flow, and coordination across all departments.
- Manage staffing rotas, clinic capacity, and operational continuity.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain excellent service delivery.
- Patient Experience
- Deliver an outstanding patient-centred experience throughout the fertility journey.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement service improvements.
- Manage complaints professionally and ensure effective service recovery.
- Promote a culture of empathy, professionalism, and exceptional customer care.
- Financial & Commercial Performance
- Support delivery of the clinic's financial and operational targets.
- Monitor clinic activity, treatment starts, appointment utilisation, and revenue performance.
- Work with Finance to support budgeting and minimise revenue leakage.
- Oversee billing processes, cancellations, and refunds.
- Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop operational and administrative teams.
- Recruit, coach, and manage staff performance in partnership with HR.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and competency requirements.
- Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
- Marketing & Business Development
- Oversee clinic marketing activities to support sustainable growth.
- Monitor enquiry levels, lead conversion, and marketing effectiveness.
- Support patient acquisition initiatives, events, and referrer engagement.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HFEA regulations, CQC standards, clinic policies, and quality management systems.
- Support audits, inspections, incident management, and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain operational readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Reporting & Governance
- Produce weekly KPI reports and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor performance dashboards and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reporting.
About You

Essential
- Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in healthcare clinical management or practice management.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare quality management and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Financial awareness and strong problem-solving ability.
