A well-established, independent small animal veterinary practice in a picturesque market town in Wiltshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and supportive team. The Practice
The practice is a single-site, RCVS-accredited facility with a long-standing reputation in the local community, dating back to 1897. It now operates from a modern, purpose-built, air-conditioned premises designed to support high clinical standards and staff wellbeing. Facilities include:
- Two fully equipped sterile operating theatres
- Advanced imaging suite (endoscopy, digital X-ray, ultrasound with cardiac probe)
- Dedicated dental suite with dental X-ray
- Fully equipped in-house laboratory
- Separate cat, dog, and isolation wards
- Large meeting and training space for CPD and team development
The practice is situated near Salisbury Plain and the North Wessex Downs, offering a beautiful countryside setting while remaining within easy reach of Bath, Bristol, and the M4 corridor.
The Role
- Part-time Veterinary Surgeon position
- Two days per week
- 1 in 6 Saturdays (8:30am-4:00pm)
- Open to Veterinary Surgeons with 2+ years’ experience
- Flexible start date (from July, depending on notice period)
- Accommodation available if required
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of experienced professionals, including certificate holders, with a strong culture of case discussion and clinical support.
