We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established and respected nursing home in Bournemouth, Dorset. As the Registered Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and ensuring the well-being of residents. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.
  • Drive compliance with all CQC regulations, aiming for Good or Outstanding ratings.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of care plans, risk assessments, and medication management, ensuring residents’ needs are met safely and effectively.
  • Take full responsibility for the financial and operational management, including budgeting, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, residents, and external professionals to ensure excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing training, supervision, and appraisals to staff to encourage professional growth and high performance.

Requirements:

  • Nurse Qualified (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with active NMC registration.
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Home Manager, or Registered Manager in a similar nursing home setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • A solid understanding of CQC regulations and a track record of achieving Good CQC ratings.
  • Organisational skills to effectively manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Experience in managing residents with dementia, palliative care, or elderly care.
  • Experience managing a large team and overseeing a complex nursing home environment.
