An exciting Night Veterinary Surgeon opportunity in a bustling hospital in Liverpool. The hospital has been newly refurbished to a high standard and is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and a recently installed CT scanner. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 21 nights off.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
- Provide clients with clear and compassionate updates about their pets.
- Observe the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Prepare tailored and accurate treatment plans for each patient with transparent cost estimates.
- Mentor and develop the team to maximise effectiveness; manage clinical handovers and patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced treatment.
- Share clinical best practices and contribute to a progressive clinical culture emphasizing teamwork and patient care.
Qualifications
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Strong clinical leadership experience and experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.
- Ability to coach and influence colleagues to bring out the best in the team.
Rota & Benefits
- 7 nights on, 21 nights off.
- Salary from £45,000 - £50,000.
