The Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be involved in a varied and rewarding caseload, with responsibilities including:
- Working across multiple practice sites to gain broad clinical experience
- Supporting inpatient, theatre, and consult nursing within a hospital setting
- Undertaking Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams
- Participating in practice and network-wide clinical initiatives
There are also opportunities to become actively involved in specialist interest groups such as sustainability, wellbeing and mental health, CPD delivery, patient safety, and social engagement. RVNs with a particular interest may progress into Clinical Champion roles in areas including infection control, dentistry, or sustainability.
