Are you an experienced fire safety professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring compliance? We are looking for a Fire Surveyor to join our client and play a key role in delivering high-quality fire risk assessments and fire safety surveys across a range of residential, commercial, and public sector properties across the UK.

About the Role:

As a Fire Surveyor, you will conduct detailed fire risk assessments, fire door inspections, and passive fire protection surveys. You’ll be responsible for identifying risks, providing clear recommendations, and ensuring our clients meet their legal and regulatory fire safety obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fire risk assessments in accordance with PAS 79 and current fire safety legislation

  • Conduct fire door and compartmentation surveys

  • Produce detailed reports outlining findings, risk ratings, and remedial actions

  • Advise clients on fire safety compliance and best practices

  • Liaise with contractors and project teams to support fire safety improvement works

  • Stay updated on fire safety legislation and industry standards


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Surveyor or Fire Risk Assessor

  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, FPA, IFSM, IFE, or equivalent)

  • Experience with fire doors, compartmentation, and passive fire protection

  • Qualification within construction/surveying/fire safety

  • Full UK driving licence (travel across Greater Manchester will be required)

Desirable:

  • Third-party accreditation (e.g., FRACS, IFE, or similar)

  • Experience with fire safety working within social housing, healthcare, or commercial sectors
