We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy. Due to continued contract wins, our client is looking to expand their professional fire risk assessment team with a competent fire risk assessor. This role offers a varied workload across commercial, residential, and mixed-use premises, with strong support, realistic workloads, and clear progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting fire risk assessments in accordance with current legislation and guidance
  • Producing clear, compliant, and detailed fire risk assessment reports
  • Advising clients on fire safety compliance and remedial actions
  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience carrying out fire risk assessments independently
  • Relevant fire safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, FRA Level 3/4, IFE, or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation (RRFSO)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, healthcare, education)
  • Membership of a professional body (IFE, IFSM, etc.)
  • Third-party accreditation experience (e.g. BAFE SP205)
