Fa??ade Engineer / Senior Fa??ade Engineer
Manchester GBP45,000-GBP52,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Full-Time Hybrid (3-5 days on-site)
We re hiring a Fa??ade Engineer or Senior Fa??ade Engineer to join our Manchester office, supporting the design and delivery of new-build fa??ade systems across commercial and selected residential projects. You\’ll be involved from concept through construction, ensuring the performance, compliance, and quality of complex building envelope solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical fa??ade design, detailing, and performance reviews
- Work with unitised curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, brick slip, and metal panel systems
- Produce clear, technical fa??ade reports fluency in English is essential
- Conduct site inspections, coordinate with project teams and monitor fa??ade installation
- Align designs with UK Building Regulations, CWCT, fire, thermal, and acoustic standards
- Mentor junior staff (for senior-level hires)
What We re Looking For
- 3-5 years experience in fa??ade engineering or building envelope consultancy
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical preferred); Architecture considered
- MSc in Fa??ade Engineering is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of fa??ade systems, materials, and detailing
- Excellent communication and report writing skills in professional English
- Experience with commercial new-builds
Package
- Salary: GBP45,000 GBP52,000 (based on experience)
