Are you an experienced equine veterinary surgeon looking for a practice that truly supports your professional growth while giving you the freedom to practice high-quality, field-based veterinary medicine? This proudly independent, equine-only practice in Staffordshire is seeking a dedicated vet to join their small but highly capable team.
About the Role
This is a fully ambulatory equine position, allowing vets to manage cases thoroughly on-site with strong support from colleagues. The practice values clinical freedom, giving you the space to grow as a clinician while having a supportive network to rely on.
Fully Mobile, Fully Supported
You will work from a fully equipped veterinary van, including:
- Ultrasound
- Digital X-ray
- Motorised dental equipment
- Gastroscope and Endoscope
Support on the road is provided by:
- An experienced and approachable veterinary team
- A highly organised and supportive office team
- Skilled horse handlers to assist with challenging cases
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive salary: £40,000 – £60,000
- 4-day work week (8:30am – 5pm)
- 1 night/week on call and 1 in 4 weekends (quiet OOH)
- Paid overtime and OOH stipend
