The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a welcoming and well‑established small animal practice in Epsom on a part‑time basis. This role would suit a newly qualified RVN looking for strong clinical support, or an experienced nurse seeking a flexible part‑time position within a friendly and settled team. You’ll enjoy a varied caseload and be involved in all aspects of clinical nursing, including consultations, theatre, inpatient care and client support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients
  • Assist with consultations, surgical procedures and anaesthetic monitoring
  • Provide inpatient care and patient monitoring
  • Run nurse clinics and preventative healthcare consultations
  • Maintain accurate clinical records
  • Support stock management and equipment maintenance
  • Deliver excellent client communication and education
Working Pattern
  • Up to 20 hours per week
  • Part-time permanent position
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
  • 1 in 10 Sunday rotations at a nearby 24‑hour hospital

The Practice

This is a busy and well‑supported first opinion practice with a loyal, long‑standing client base. You’ll work alongside an experienced and friendly team including a veterinary surgeon, RVN, veterinary care assistant and dedicated reception staff, allowing you to focus on providing excellent patient care in a collaborative environment.
