Key Responsibilities
- Full operational and clinical management of a nursing home in Portsmouth
- Act as CQC Registered Manager
- Maintain and enhance CQC compliance, governance, and quality standards
- Lead, motivate, and develop nursing, care, and support staff
- Ensure delivery of outstanding person-centred nursing care
- Oversee clinical audits, risk management, and quality assurance
- Manage staffing, recruitment, retention, and performance
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs, and external professionals
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance
- Prepare for and lead CQC inspections
Essential Requirements
- Nurse qualified (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) - essential
- Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, or Deputy Manager
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Passion for high-quality nursing and elderly care
- Right to work in the UK

- Experience managing a fully compliant or Good/Outstanding CQC-rated nursing home
- Strong clinical leadership background
