An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a newly launched 24 hour veterinary service within a large, independent small animal practice in Swindon. This modern, forward‑thinking practice is committed to delivering the highest standards of emergency and critical care, offering true continuity of care, excellent clinical facilities, and fair pricing for clients.
This night vet role offers a genuine and varied emergency and critical care caseload, supported by excellent on‑site facilities that allow cases to be fully worked up overnight, including access to advanced diagnostics such as CT scanning. All patients remain in‑house, ensuring continuity of care, with structured morning handovers to the day team. You will be supported by a highly experienced veterinary and nursing team, enabling you to focus on delivering gold‑standard patient care throughout the night.
The practice is seeking a confident RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years’ experience in small animal practice, strong emergency medicine and surgical skills, and a passion for high quality clinical standards. Excellent communication and client care skills are essential, as this role plays a key part in supporting clients during some of their most stressful moments while maintaining trust and transparency.
You will be working alongside passionate, supportive owners who prioritise flexible working patterns, wellbeing, and structured career development.
