Do you have a passion for Emergency and Critical Care but prefer working days? This could be the perfect role for you. We’re seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly skilled and supportive team in Ellesmere Port.
Role: In this exciting role, you’ll play a key part in overseeing inpatient care and managing emergency cases coming through the practice’s busy AE service, ensuring a dynamic and varied caseload with a strong medical focus.
- Lead on inpatient care, carrying out emergency procedures where needed.
- Collaborate with an experienced clinical team to deliver comprehensive treatment.
- Provide gold-standard care to pets and reassurance to their owners.

Rota: 40 hours per week. 2 x 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00). 2 x 7-hour shifts (07:00–13:00 or 14:00–21:00). Flexible weekend rota.
About the Practice: This RCVS-accredited veterinary surgery is one of Cheshire’s leading practices, caring for thousands of pets every year. With state-of-the-art facilities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning, and an on-site laboratory, the practice is well-equipped to deliver rapid and accurate diagnoses. Alongside general services, they also provide advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, inpatient hospital care, and specialist critical care services. Located in Ellesmere Port, the practice offers easy access to Cheshire’s countryside and vibrant cities such as Chester, Liverpool, and Manchester—a perfect setting for work-life balance.
