Working alongside an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager and reporting directly to the Home Manager, you will help lead a dedicated care team, drive outstanding standards of care, and ensure residents receive exceptional person-centred support every day. About the Home: Our attractive care home is set in a lovely Cheshire location, offering a comfortable, homely environment where residents can enjoy outstanding dementia care delivered by a compassionate and experienced team. The Role: This is a mainly supernumerary Deputy Manager position, allowing you to focus on leadership, staff development, quality improvement, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the home. Some shift working will be required to support the team during busy periods or cover leave, giving you the opportunity to lead by example and remain connected with residents and colleagues. The role also includes some weekend working, agreed in advance and discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager with the daily management of the care home.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Deputy Manager to deliver exceptional resident care.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the care team.
  • Promote best practice in dementia care and person-centred support.
  • Monitor care quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support staff training, supervision, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

About You: To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience leading teams within a residential care home or dementia care setting.

  • Residence within approximately a 40-minute commute of Crewe.
