Children's Home Manager £45,000 – £55,000 3 bed EBD Doncaster About the Role: This provider is seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Manager to lead and manage a residential care home for children and young people. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment, helping young people to thrive and achieve their potential. Doncaster is a vibrant town in South Yorkshire, known for its rich industrial heritage, lively markets, and historic landmarks like Doncaster Minster. Doncaster boasts excellent transport links, including a major railway station with direct routes to London, Manchester, and Edinburgh, as well as easy access to the M18 and A1(M) motorways. Key Responsibilities: •Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing. •Manage and mentor a team of support staff, including social workers, carers, and administrative staff. •Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the children and young people in our care. •Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and provide regular reports to senior management. •Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the home and promote the personal development of the young people. •Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and external agencies to support the care and development of the children. Requirements: •Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). •Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential care setting. •Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. •A thorough understanding of child safeguarding and relevant legislation. •Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. •Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
