The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing independent referral practice based in Belfast, conveniently located just off the M1. This modern, forward-thinking clinic is building a reputation for providing exceptional veterinary care at fair and transparent prices. The team is passionate about offering top-tier medical and surgical treatment while maintaining an approachable, client-focused ethos. The practice is also progressing through the RCVS Veterinary Hospital Accreditation process, with the goal of becoming Northern Ireland’s only independent Veterinary Hospital. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse referral caseload in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility equipped for both soft tissue and orthopaedic work. What You’ll Need
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
- Ability to confidently manage soft tissue or orthopaedic referral cases (or both)
- Competence and confidence to work sole charge when required
- Strong surgical and medical skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- (Desirable) Certificate holder in a relevant discipline
