- The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working within children's residential care.
- At least 2 years' experience in residential childcare, including 1 year in a supervisory or management role within the last five years.
- A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SCCIF.
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and managing complex behaviours.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Experience managing staffing, budgets and operational performance.
- A passion for delivering high‑quality, child‑centred care and achieving positive outcomes.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to enrol within 6 months of appointment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
