An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN) to join a well-established and reputable nursing home in the Southall / Uxbridge area of West London. We are looking for a clinically strong and motivated Registered Nurse (RGN) with previous experience within a nursing home, care home, or elderly care setting.

This role is ideal for either:

  • An experienced Deputy Home Manager, or
  • A Clinical Lead Nurse, Unit Manager, or Senior Nurse ready to progress into a deputy management role.

The home provides high-quality nursing care, dementia care, residential care, and elderly care, with a strong focus on person‑centred care and clinical excellence.

Deputy Nursing Home Manager Duties:

  • Support the Home Manager with the daily operations of the nursing home.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams.
  • Ensure high standards of elderly nursing and dementia care.
  • Support CQC compliance, audits, and quality assurance processes.
  • Lead by example on the clinical floor and support best practice.
  • Assist with staff management, supervision, appraisals, and training.
  • Support medication management, care planning, and safeguarding processes.
  • Monitor resident wellbeing and ensure person‑centred care delivery.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support occupancy, staff retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified RGN Nurse with active NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience working within a nursing home or care home essential.
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Unit Manager, or senior nursing role.
  • Strong clinical skills within elderly care and dementia care.
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience leading and motivating care and nursing teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding resident care.
