Salary: Β£37,000 per annum
Are you an experienced care professional looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to join our friendly and supportive team at our care home in Stockport.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety and quality are consistently delivered to our residents.
The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Home Manager in the effective day-to-day management of the care home
- Lead, motivate and support the care team
- Ensure high standards of person-centred care are delivered at all times
- Assist with staff supervision, recruitment, training and development
- Support with compliance and maintaining excellent standards in line with CQC requirements
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- Step up to manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a senior role within a residential or nursing care setting
- Has strong leadership and people-management skills
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care
- Has a good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Is organised, professional and able to work effectively under pressure
- Holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant health and social care qualification
