Salary: Β£37,000 per annum

Are you an experienced care professional looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to join our friendly and supportive team at our care home in Stockport.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety and quality are consistently delivered to our residents.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Support the Home Manager in the effective day-to-day management of the care home
  • Lead, motivate and support the care team
  • Ensure high standards of person-centred care are delivered at all times
  • Assist with staff supervision, recruitment, training and development
  • Support with compliance and maintaining excellent standards in line with CQC requirements
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
  • Step up to manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a senior role within a residential or nursing care setting
  • Has strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care
  • Has a good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Is organised, professional and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant health and social care qualification
