Deputy Residential Home Manager

Learning Disability Residential Service – Working Age Adults

Salary: £35,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are actively seeking a committed and motivated Deputy Residential Home Manager to join our residential service supporting working-age adults with learning disabilities, including L4–L5 level needs. This role is ideal for someone who wants real progression, long-term development, and the opportunity to genuinely make a difference — not just a paycheck.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to help lead a residential service that delivers high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Be prepared to hit the ground running, while also being open to candidates who are ready to step up into a deputy role.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re open-minded about background — you might currently be a:

  • Care Coordinator
  • Team Leader
  • Senior Support Worker / Senior Carer
  • Assistant Manager

What matters most is that you bring leadership experience, confidence in decision-making, and a genuine passion for learning disability services.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working in learning disability residential services (essential)
  • Management or leadership experience within care (essential)
  • Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Level 5 (or working towards) – bonus
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
  • Ability to support, motivate and develop a staff team
  • A values-driven approach and commitment to long-term progression
