Registered Manager / Care Home Manager - A New Standard of Care
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager / Care Home Manager to take the lead at a brand-new premium care service in Southport.
This is an opportunity for an established Care Home Manager who is looking to step into a distinctive new environment where exceptional care is combined with the standards and service associated with a five-star hotel.
The new service will provide luxury residential care and extra care, offering residents beautifully designed accommodation, excellent facilities, outstanding food and a highly personalised approach to care.
We are looking for a confident Registered Manager or Care Home Manager who can lead the service, develop an exceptional team and establish a culture where quality, hospitality and resident experience are at the heart of everything we do.
About the Care Home Manager Role
As Registered Manager / Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful operation of the service.
You will provide strong leadership across the care home, ensuring that residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service delivery.
For the right Care Home Manager, this is an opportunity to become part of a new service at an important stage of its development.
You will help establish the culture, standards and reputation of the care home and have genuine influence over how the service develops.
The successful Registered Manager / Care Home Manager will combine strong knowledge of adult social care and CQC requirements with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding resident experience.
Key Responsibilities - Care Home Manager
As Care Home Manager / Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care home.
- Leading the delivery of high-quality residential care and extra care.
- Ensuring the care home operates in accordance with CQC regulations, legislation and best practice.
- Providing visible, positive leadership to the care and support team.
- Recruiting, developing, coaching and retaining an outstanding team.
- Maintaining excellent standards of care planning, safeguarding and medication management.
- Monitoring quality, compliance, audits and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels, training and competency across the care home.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
- Promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care.
- Working closely with hospitality and operational teams to deliver a seamless resident experience.
- Supporting the development of the care home's reputation within the Southport community.
- Taking ownership of the overall quality and performance of the service.
What We Are Looking For in a Care Home Manager
