About the Role
You will be working as part of a forward‑thinking primary care team delivering high‑quality patient care across a range of long‑term conditions and treatment room duties.
The practice supports ongoing development, meaning the role can be shaped around your current experience level, with training provided where required.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Management of chronic disease clinics (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Cervical cytology (if qualified)
- Childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations (desirable)
- Wound care and treatment room duties
- Health promotion and preventative care
- Medication reviews under protocol
- Supporting GP and ANP colleagues within the clinical team
- Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems
About You
We welcome applications from:
- Registered Practice Nurses (RGN / NMC registered)
- Nurses with primary care experience
- Community or secondary care nurses looking to move into general practice
- Nurses interested in developing chronic disease management skills
You may already have experience in some of the following areas:
- Chronic disease management
- Cervical screening
- Vaccinations and immunisations
- Treatment room procedures
However, full experience is not essential as this is a training practice that actively supports development and upskilling.
