Divisional Sales Manager (Healthcare / Elderly Care) – North Region (Field Based)

About the Role

As a Divisional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and embedding the sales strategy across circa 50 nursing and residential care homes in the North of England. This is a field-based role with travel, overseeing a wide regional portfolio and ensuring homes meet occupancy, fee, and revenue growth targets.

  • Develop and deliver annual and quarterly sales plans across 50 homes throughout the North.
  • Provide hands-on support to new openings and underperforming sites.
  • Coach, mentor and hold Customer Relations Managers and Home Managers accountable for enquiry generation, conversion, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Lead on reporting and analysis of sales activity, providing clear insights and action plans.
  • Drive adoption of CRM systems to track enquiries and improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure homes deliver against agreed sales processes and uphold elderly care brand standards.

About You

To succeed as a Divisional Sales Manager, you will bring:

  • Proven success in delivering commercial sales growth within a large multi-site nursing home provider or care home brand.
  • Thorough knowledge of the elderly care sector, including CQC requirements and customer decision-making journeys.
  • Strong commercial acumen with both strategic and hands-on sales expertise.
  • People leadership skills with experience training, coaching, and holding managers accountable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar).
  • Desirable: Experience in sales training delivery, supporting new build care homes, or working with occupancy-challenged markets.
