Salary: Up to £60,000 plus bonus

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children\’s Home Manager for our 3-bed residential facility in Wolverhampton. The home caters to children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children\’s home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each child, focusing on their emotional, social, and educational development.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support the needs and development of the children.
  • Ensure the home meets all Ofsted standards and achieves positive inspection outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children\’s residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of EBD and LD care requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People\’s Services or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
