We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Dual-Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee two 1-bed children’s residential homes in the Preston / Prestwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager seeking a well-supported role within small, specialist services focused on delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall leadership and management of two solo children’s residential homes
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Lead, supervise, and develop staff teams to maintain excellent care delivery
- Promote stable, therapeutic environments that support young people’s development
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance
- Maintain strong working relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience managing children’s residential homes (dual registration preferred)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and inspections
- Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
