Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and monitoring of long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and COPD
  • Administering childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
  • Conducting cervical cytology
  • Providing wound care and management
  • Delivering health promotion advice and lifestyle support
  • Supporting patients with family planning and sexual health advice
  • Assisting with minor surgery and other treatment room duties
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS (or similar system)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse
  • Previous experience working in a general practice or primary care setting
  • Competence in chronic disease management and treatment room duties
