Key Responsibilities:
- Management and monitoring of long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and COPD
- Administering childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
- Conducting cervical cytology
- Providing wound care and management
- Delivering health promotion advice and lifestyle support
- Supporting patients with family planning and sexual health advice
- Assisting with minor surgery and other treatment room duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS (or similar system)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse
- Previous experience working in a general practice or primary care setting
- Competence in chronic disease management and treatment room duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, patient-centred approach to care
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
