Small Nursing Home in the Porthcawl area requires a nurse registered manager for their dementia and elderly care service. Our client is looking for a nurse registered manager to oversee the day to day management of their 40+ bed nursing home in the Porthcawl area.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality care
  • Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well trained and motivated
  • Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
  • Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Finance Team
  • Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy
  • Ensure CIW compliance
  • Engage with local community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available

Qualifications

  • You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC
  • Management experience in a nursing home or similar setting
  • At least level 4 or 5 diplomas in Health and Social Care
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A passion for person centred care and working with older people
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure
