Small Nursing Home in the Porthcawl area requires a nurse registered manager for their dementia and elderly care service. Our client is looking for a nurse registered manager to oversee the day to day management of their 40+ bed nursing home in the Porthcawl area.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality care
- Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well trained and motivated
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
- Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Finance Team
- Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy
- Ensure CIW compliance
- Engage with local community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available
Qualifications
- You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC
- Management experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- At least level 4 or 5 diplomas in Health and Social Care
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A passion for person centred care and working with older people
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure
