We are a compassionate and dedicated care home, providing exceptional support to 32 residents living with dementia. Our focus is on creating a safe, stimulating, and homely environment where every resident feels valued and respected.
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in day-to-day operations of the home
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Supervise and motivate care staff, fostering a positive team culture
- Assist with staff training, performance management, and recruitment
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with CQC standards
- Participate in care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Experience in a care home environment, preferably with dementia care
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 is desirable)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in care
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care
